For more than 40 years Siempelkamp Tensioning Systems (STS) has enjoyed an excellent reputation on the international nuclear market as a specialist for the design, delivery, upgrading and maintenance of highly automated stud tensioning equipment. The latest technical concepts of our Design Department and products proven in practice are integrated into our Stud Tensioning Systems. On demand we offer customized tensioning system applications.

These Stud Tensioning Systems are well known as Multi Stud Tensioners (MST) and Single Stud Tensioners (SST). They are used for detensioning and retensioning the Reactor Pressure Vessel or other primary circuit and secondary circuit components in nuclear plants.

Furthermore, STS offers automatic stud turning robots which install / remove one or up to six Reactor Pressure Vessel Studs simultaneously. The Stud Turning Robots reduce the time for stud turning (insertion or removal) to a minimum on the critical path.

In addition to our stud tensioning and stud turning equipment we provide automatically / manually controlled cleaning devices for reactor studs and stud holes.
