Research and Production Corporation Radiy is a leading international company, headquartered in Ukraine, designing, producing, and installing advanced technological systems that perform safety and process control functions at nuclear sites.
Radiy's Digital Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Platform is designed to build custom-made safety and control systems for nuclear power stations (NPPs) of various types. All safety related functions are implemented based on FPGA-technology (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), which is widely considered as one of the most advanced technologies to implement safety systems of high reliability in nuclear facilities.
For more than 15 years Radiy has been using its safety I&C designs for modernization of aging NPPs in Ukraine and Bulgaria. During this time more than 50 "turn key" modernization projects have been successfully completed and I&C systems of different types, important to nuclear safety, have been commissioned and licensed.
The processes of designing, manufacturing, and assuring quality of Radiy's equipment and systems comply with the standards and requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the International Atomic Agency (IAEA) for nuclear safety systems.
Radiy's Quality Assurance Program includes periodic reviews and audits by independent organizations. These reviews have resulted in award of:
- A license for designing, manufacturing, supplying, and maintaining equipment for nuclear reactors, given by the State Nuclear Regulation Committee of Ukraine
- Certification that Radiy has been officially registered in the supplier list of Atomic Energy of Canada, Ltd
- Certification that the Radiy Quality Assurance Program complies with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, given by TÜV Rheinland, Inter Cert, Brussels
- Certification that Radiy's Engineered Safety Features Actuation System complies with European safety regulations EN61010 and EN55022, given by TÜV Rheinland, Inter Cert, Brussels.
Our existing nuclear customers take advantage of Radiy's advanced solutions to improve safety and reliability of their operation. We have been a trusted partner in the nuclear power industry for almost 20 years providing innovative solutions for new builds and existing plants, improving performance, solving obsolescence problems, and enhancing safety.
We offer our experience and services working jointly with you, and we can support your activities in all phases of the project.
We look forward to offering you the advantages of the FPGA technology.
